Getting Started Python
Python is an interpreted programming language, this means that, We can directly write on python command prompt and execute or write python codes on text editor and save that file with .py extension and run it into the python interpreter to execute.
Let’s create a file with any text editor like notepad, notepad++, sublime text or any other text editor or IDE and write print(“hello, world!”) and save this file as heloworld.py
Then Open python command prompt run this file from there and it should output Hello, World!
Or We can directly write print(“hello, world!”) on python command prompt and we’ll see the same result.
Congratulations, we have written and executed your first Python program.

Python Indentation
Indentation refers to the spaces at the beginning of a code line.
Where in other programming languages the indentation in code is for readability only, the indentation in Python is very important.
Python uses indentation to indicate a block of code.
print(“Eight is greater than Six!")

Python will give you an error if you skip the indentation:
print(“Eight is greater than Six!")

The number of spaces is up to you, but it has to be at least one.
print(“Eight is greater than Six!")

print(“Eight is greater than Six!")
You have to use the same number of spaces in the same block of code, otherwise Python will give you an error:

print(“Eight is greater than Six!")
print(“Eight is greater than Six!")

Python Variables
In Python, variables are created when you assign a value to it:
x = 5
y = "Hello, World!"
Python has no command for declaring a variable.

Comments
Python has commenting capability for the purpose of in-code documentation.
Comments start with a #, and Python will render the rest of the line as a comment:
#This is a comment.
print("Hello, World!")

We’ll discuss about comment and variable in details in next videos………
